Your church needs to be relevant to the local community, serve its members and of course be an open door to exploring a relationship with God.
Helpful tools in our modern world to support that are a good website, email newsletter, probably some social media and so on.
There are many different ways you can make a website (and costs too), typically our Standard Site offering is most appropriate for churches.
That involves creating a clear brand, but not needing a full graphical mockup and custom build until perhaps a bit later in the process (you can upgrade for the difference).
Notice boards still have their place, as do Sunday announcements, but in this digital age people expect emails and often social media too. However, that has to be within the administrative capacity of the church.
With a website which is being regularly updated (service times, short news items about what has been happening, possibly even recordings) you will already have most of the content needed to send effective emails newsletters and use social media without needing to necessarily know about Twitter!
You will be supported as we create simple to send updates which makes it easier to keep the congregation up to date in small bites. This includes automatic timing and scheduling tools to maximise the effectiveness.
Branding and churches seem like they don’t go together, but having a consistent use of colours, fonts, a graphic of some sort (on letterhead, cards, signage, etc) helps to define the ‘feel’ of the church. The best starting point for this really is the Vision.
We’ve made logos for high Anglican to more free churches, in some cases taking a photo and doing a line-drawing of the most prominent feature, the stunning church building itself. Once the ‘style’ is set, then you can create all the other parts of a ‘Corporate Identity’ with simple files (like a Word Template) to ensure it stays consistent.
