Hello we’re the freshSPRING Team! A mixed bunch of about 10(ish) people spread across the UK and a little further afield too with our central office based in South East London.
Most of the team have specialisms such as coding, graphic design (print and web), content/copywriters, etc which we form into ‘smart teams’ on a project by project basis. Working freelance also gives us flexible capacity and keeps costs low for you as we only get paid for working, not eating biscuits 🙂
Here’s a few of the poeple you might hear from:
Nick Gazard (Chief Executive)
Broadly responsible for sending lots of emails, making phonecalls, drinking coffee and stubbornly not using a Mac (well until last year when he caved).
His background in Maths, Fundraising and Retail mean he can sometimes be useful and often is involved in delivering training and seminars. Nick is based in London with his wife and two sons and generally enjoys photography and chips with mayonaise when not working.
John (Senior Developer)
A former IT teacher, he leads our development as an avid PC enthusiast. Based in Chesterfield, he also helps his partner run an online shop and works on a number of other projects. If you smell burning then it might be his playing with a wooden laser cutter.
David (Graphic Designer)
Residing in bonnie Scotland, David has significant experience with product design for high-end labels down to websites for nuts and bolts (literally!). A gentle fellow with excellent turn around and always a keen eye that means many a pleasant design surprise.
Phil (Content/ Copywriter)
Across the river in ‘North London’, Phil is developing a knowledge-based business and partnering with freshSPRING on a social media opinion platform. When not taming his two children he’s working hard on ensuring your content follows all the grammar and structural rules. Also German.

Our main criteria is experience and a portfolio over qualifications, and a willingness to learn. You will be challenged to do projects which expand your skills within a supportive environment. FYI we do have women on our team, they just didn’t want to be on this page, but maybe you do?
