"Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy, that will be for all the people." Luke 2:10

Terms and Conditions

The following is an excerpt from our terms and conditions that relate to hosting and emails. The full terms and conditions (just one page of normal type) can be downloaded in PDF format here.

Quick Summary

There's nothing draconian in here, just a promise from us not to check your emails (we get too many anyway!), to protect your passwords and asking you not to do anything naughty like SPAM people and pay your bills.

Email

At all times freshSPRING will be able to access your hosted email accounts though will only do so at your request, for technical reasons, or law enforcement.

We will do our best to set the right filters for SPAM at domain level however this won't prevent SPAM and you do need antivirus software on your machine; even if domain-level antivirus has been chosen.

Email must not be used for sending SPAM, adult or other objectionable material; doing so means we will have to suspend and possibly close your account.

Passwords, Usernames, etc

It may be necessary or expedient for you to give login details of other services that you use relating to your site (eg. transferring domain names; designing a site on other systems; payment merchants like PayPal or Google accounts for ads and analytics).

These details will be kept in strictest confidence under the guidelines of the 1998 Data Protection Act and only used for the purpose specified.

Domains

At all times you will own the domains associated with your site, presuming invoices are up to date (see payments). Email and phone contacts will be listed as freshSPRING you will be listed as the named owner. We have NO transfer out costs should you decide to move a domain to another registrar.

Support

For any problems/ minor issues we aim to respond within 48 hours where possible, often faster. Support is defined as by phone and/or email; in-person visits may exceptionally be included at our discretion.

Payments

On-time payments mean we can pay our staff (we are non-profit), increase your credit, etc. We will be generous but do have to draw the line somewhere. Failure to pay for a domain by the invoice due date means the domain becomes our property and may be sold to anyone by any means or otherwise used.
